Sawbee is the name I've given to my concept CNC router project. There are lots of similar projects on the net, but when I started I wanted to find or create a simple scriptable tool control language. The idea being that a community of users could share "parts". Imagine writing a procedure for cutting wooden gears from a sheet of wood. Parameters would specify the number of teeth, the diameter etc. Someone could create a procedure to cut all the parts for a wooden clock, which would call the gear procedure as needed. That is what I call sawbee. The user community would create a library of buildable parts (scripts that create things with sawbee.) I'll document my progress and what I have/know toward building sawbee on this site.
